Welcome to InstaDocs ("we," "our," or "us"), operated by JAYDARSH TECHNOCRATS LLP. This Privacy Policy outlines how data is processed when using our mobile application (the "App").

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use InstaDocs. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not access the application.

1. Data Processing and Storage

InstaDocs performs document processing locally on your device. The core document conversion and processing functionality occurs entirely on your local device. An active internet connection may be required to access certain application features and load advertisements.

  • No Personal Data Collected by Us: We do not collect, save, or transmit your documents, images, or files to any external servers.
  • No Cloud Storage: All processed files remain strictly on your local device storage unless you explicitly choose to share them using your device's native sharing capabilities.

2. Third-Party Services, Analytics & Advertisements

InstaDocs incorporates third-party services provided by Google, including:

  • Google AdMob: Used to display advertisements that support the free provision of the application.
  • Google Firebase Analytics: Used to collect anonymous usage metrics, app stability data, and performance statistics to optimize application features.

Our Data Handling Commitments:

  • We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal documents, images, or files to external servers. All document processing is performed locally on your device.
  • Anonymous event metrics, crash logs, and advertising identifiers are processed securely by Google subject to Google Privacy & Terms.
  • You can manage ad preferences or opt out of personalized advertising at any time via your Android or iOS device settings.

3. Global Privacy Information

Because InstaDocs operates locally on your device without collecting user documents or personal files, general privacy guidelines for major regions are noted below:

For Users in the European Economic Area (EEA) and UK (GDPR / UK GDPR)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we clarify that we do not store or access your personal files or documents. However, for identifiers and telemetry processed via third-party services (Google AdMob and Google Firebase Analytics), users have the following rights:

  • Right to Opt-Out / Withdraw Consent: You can disable personalized advertising at any time through your Android/iOS device settings (e.g., Reset Advertising ID or disable Personalized Ads).
  • Data Access & Deletion: Since we do not maintain user accounts or personal databases, we do not store personal profiles. Any advertising data is managed directly by Google in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. You may submit data requests directly to Google or adjust advertising settings via your operating system settings.

For Users in California, USA (CCPA)

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, request deletion, and opt-out of the sale of personal information. We do not "sell" your personal information in the traditional sense, but our use of third-party ad networks may be considered a "sale" under CCPA. You can opt out using your device's ad tracking settings.

For Users in India (DPDP Act)

In accordance with data minimization principles, no user files or document content are uploaded to external servers, and user data remains strictly on the local device.

4. Children’s Privacy (COPPA)

Our App is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or 16 where applicable). We do not intentionally collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has interacted with third-party services within the App, advertising identifiers can be reset directly through your device settings.

5. Security of Your Information and Limitation of Liability

Because InstaDocs operates strictly locally, the security of your documents relies entirely on your device's security.

  • Zero Liability for Local Data: We are not responsible for any unauthorized access, loss, theft, or corruption of files stored on your device.
  • User Responsibility: We strongly recommend securing your device with a passcode, encryption, or biometric authentication. If your device is compromised by malware, viruses, or physical theft, we bear no liability for any resulting data breaches or loss of privacy.
  • The limited advertising data collected by third parties is secured by those parties using their own protocols, for which we assume no liability.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any modifications will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy.
